Manga Festival Singapore 2013

Held over Several locations last week was Manga Festival Singapore.. Orgainzed by METI (Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and an Exclusive Commitee in Singapore,the event is to promote manga to the Public.

3 events was being held at 3 locations over the period of 15th to 17th Febuary. 

On the 15th at Mandrian Orchard,there were talks like :

• "Coming of age for full-Fledged ebook" by Mr. Tsuguhiro Kadokawa ,
• "The Business model of Suraj the Rising Star" by Mr.Yoshiaki Koga 
• "The development of comics in Asia,Shinya Shokudo" by Mr.Yaro Abe,Mr.Makoto Oshima and Mr.Nobutaka Hirooka.

where the speakers share thier insights of thier respective developments.

On the 16th February, an autograph session held at Kino invited several guest such as:

• Mr Yaro Abe (Shinya Syokudo)
• Mr.Masayuki Ishikawa (Tales of Agriculture)
• Mr.Mine Yoshizaki(Sgt. Frog Keroro)
• Mr Hiroyuki Itoh(Crypton Future Media) and Mr. Danny choo (Culture Japan)

      Fans flooded the Kino at Ngee Ann City for a chance to meet and greet thier favourite manga artist as well as getting thier autograph. Of which, along with Mr.Danny choo as the panel moderator, Mr Hiroyuki Itoh,the father of Hatsune Miku shared about the Virtual Diva sucess in a special speech session with fans at the bookstore itself. 

On the 16th and 17th February an exbition was being held at the art house showcasing:

• Over 400 Manga titles
• Ereader Manga
• Hatsune miku related Goods and Movies.
